The board members of St. Irene's Council of Catholic Women for Jesus want to officially welcome
you to CCW and say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for responding to the call of
joining us in becoming an active member. Your CCW offers you the opportunity to be with other
women who share same general interests with you, to make new friends, to use your special skills
and talents and to be of service to your church and community while having fun with other Christian
women. It provides us the opportunity to develop prayer skills and an enhanced spiritual life. New
ideas and new talents are needed to keep up the work started and to add to the programs that can
benefit our church family, our community and or foreign neighbors.
God made each one of us to be uniquely ourselves. He gave us genetic endowments that he
matched perfectly with our spirits. He gave us talents. And he had a unique plan. "I praise you
because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full
well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was
woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days
ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. " (Psalm
139:14-16) God did not give us personality, talents, and the ability to grow in character, only to
leave us to fend for ourselves. He planned ahead for us, as we just read in the scripture verse
above. "All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to
be"
We can do great things in the name of Christ to make a difference in this world. Together we can
help do Christ's work. Thank you for answering the call!
